The global Covid-19 pandemic has affected all of us in different ways and we understand that these are uncertain times.
At the British Council, the health, safety and well-being of all our staff, customers, partners and the communities in which we operate is a top our priority. We support and cooperate with all local government agencies by putting all necessary measures in place to ensure the continued well-being of all with whom we engage at work, and as responsible corporate citizens of the world.
The British Council in Singapore has temporarily paused some of our activities in response to guidance from the Singapore government. Where possible, we are continuing some of our activities using appropriate health and safety protocols.
We are exploring how we can digitise our programmes and find possibilities for connecting people online. Through new approaches to our work, we will endeavour to continue to provide cultural and educational opportunities to connect.

Study UK: If you are an existing student in the UK your school or university is there to help you. Make sure you have the right contact details within your institution. If you are over 18 you may also wish to contact the UKCISA’s Student Advice line at +44 2077 88 9214 (1 p.m. - 4 p.m. UK time, Monday to Friday).

Vaccination will protect your child/ward who is aged 12 and above against Covid-19 and reduce their chances of falling very ill if infected. If your child/ward has not been vaccinated, please get them vaccinated today! Just walk in to any Vaccination Centre, polyclinic or participating PHPC - no appointment needed for your first dose. Please note that parental consent is required for students below the age of 18 and the consent form can be downloaded at go.gov.sg/parcf. Find out more on the vaccination location at vaccine.gov.sg. If you require further assistance, please call the MOH Covid-19 Vaccination Call Centre at 1800-333-9999.
