Join us at the British Council Open House for Young Learners in June 

The Open House event at the British Council in Singapore presents you with the opportunity to gain first-hand experience of the English courses on offer for Young Learners. We’ll introduce you to the various courses that are designed to help Young Learners succeed in learning English. Attendees will also benefit from a collection of perks and the chance to win a place at a Holiday Camp.

What are English courses for Young Learners?

Young Learners include children and teenagers between the ages of 3 and 17. The courses cater to various age groups from Early Years to the Lower Primary, Upper Primary, and Secondary phases. We also offer supplementary 1:1/small group classes, and various study camps to help children become creative thinkers and communicators. 

The English language courses at the British Council in Singapore have been developed by leading experts. We provide individualised learning to support each student in achieving their learning goals. Young Learners are taught in a safe, supportive, and dynamic environment, designed to help them succeed in developing skills and proficiencies that are essential in the 21st century.

The comprehensive courses align with the syllabus set by the Ministry of Education. They are designed to enrich language skills for reading, writing, and speaking, with interactive and stimulating approaches to further develop foundational knowledge of the language. We then build on this by introducing them to topics that extend beyond the classroom to prepare them for the real-world.

What will happen on the day? 

The Open House event will showcase the various ways that the British Council in Singapore helps Young Learners develop their language skills. Parents and children in attendance will meet our internationally qualified academic team and learn more about our teaching methodology and styles.

There will be two Open House sessions with the British Council in Singapore.
