Effective Virtual Communication

Your trusted partner in professional communication skills: new Bitesize 90 virtual workshops.

With the demand for flexible working on the rise, remote work is fast becoming the norm. One of the most common concerns with remote work, is the flow of communication.

At the British Council our Bitesize 90 virtual workshops (approximately 90 minutes each) include communication skills training for those who have to host virtual meetings, teleconferences and manage teams remotely. This style of learning provides flexibility that allows participants to learn when and where they want to on any device. Our team of experienced trainers conduct virtual workshops to encourage interaction among the participants to deliver the desired results.

New topics include:

  • chairing virtual meetings
  • participating in virtual meetings
  • effective teleconferencing skills
  • communicating effectively with internal stakeholders in crisis situations
  • communicating effectively with external stakeholders in crisis situations.

Our experienced training consultants work in partnership with your organisation to ensure each session addresses the specific needs of your teams. Participants are engaged in interactive activities related to their contexts and techniques which can be immediately used in the workplace. Our virtual workshops allow teams to learn at a time, location and pace that best suits their needs.

What do our clients say

'The collaboration between the Singapore Academy of Law and the British Council Professional Development Centre over the past three years has been an enriching one. The SAL's Legal Industry Framework for Training and Education (LIFTED) champions diverse and lively learning alongside the development of deep technical expertise. British Council is a valued partner in helping us develop effective T-shaped legal and legal support professionals. We have learnt much from each other in the process and I look forward to more good work together as we continue on this legal learning journey.'
