June holiday courses for Primary 1 students.
Writing Champions *NEW*
A new course specially developed for confident readers in Primary 1. As a class, we will read an award-winning story about a rabbit who takes a trip to the library and decides to read a story about wolves with some unexpected consequences! As well as comprehension activities, your child will also have a chance to act out parts of the story! After identifying the story's key features, they will have a chance to do their own research in class, complete a fact file, and have fun brainstorming ideas to write their very own creative story.
This course adopts the Talk4Writing method that is currently being used in many UK schools. It will incorporate elements of drama, comprehension and composition towards the end goal of learners writing their own narratives.
This course is suitable for students currently in Primary 1.
