November/December holiday courses for Primary 5 students.

Fact and Fiction – a creative writing course for Primary 4 and 5 *NEW*

Good writing is complex and the sum of many parts. This course gives your child the opportunity to focus on practicing the parts in isolation. In this five-day course, students will analyse and practise targeted language features of both situational and continuous writing text types.

Your child will learn to develop characters and plots in narratives and also explore how to write a good ending. Through letter writing, sports reporting and explanations, students will learn how to select the most important content points and arrange them chronologically. At the end of the course, your child will take home a portfolio of work that they can reference when it comes to completing writing tasks for school.

This course is suitable for students who completed Primary 4 and 5 this year.
