Eligibility and Promotion Period

  1. The British Council (Singapore) Limited (referred to as the 'British Council') is offering promotional discounts to SAFRA National Service Association members (including dependent family members) and OneNS members who are 11B holders (collectively referred to as 'Eligible Participants') to register for our Professional Skills workshops.
  2. Note: An 11B holder refers to personnel possessing the official military identification card issued to Full-time National Servicemen (NSFs) and Operationally Ready National Servicemen (NSmen) across the Singapore Armed Forces (SAF), Singapore Police Force (SPF), and Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF).
  3. This promotion is valid from 1 July to 31 August 2026 (both dates inclusive), in celebration of SAF Day and National Day.
  4. This promotion applies strictly to self-sponsored participants and is not applicable to corporate- or company-sponsored registrations.
  5. All workshop seats are subject to availability and will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis.

Promotional Discounts

  1. 30% discount when booking two (2) or more Professional Skills workshops.
  2. 20% discount when booking a single (1) Professional Skills workshop.
  3. To qualify for the discount, workshops must be attended and completed by 31 December 2026.

Registration and Verification Mechanics

  1. To redeem the discount, participants must complete the online registration process as follows:
  2. Promo code entry: Enter the promo code 'SAFRA' next to your name in the online form under the 'Participant Details' section (e.g., Jane Tan – SAFRA).
  3. Funding type: Select 'Self-sponsored' in the 'Company Details' section.
  4. Verification: Immediately after submitting the online form, email a screenshot of your digital SAFRA membership card (showing your full name and membership number via the SAFRA mobile app) or your official 11B card to pdc-enquiry@britishcouncil.org.sg. 
  5. The British Council Corporate English Solutions (CES) team will review the submission and follow up within three (3) working days.

Amendments and Rights Reserved

  1. The British Council reserves the sole and absolute right to withdraw, amend, or alter any part of these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Participants agree to be bound by any such variations.
  2. In the event of any dispute, the decision of the British Council shall be final and binding.
  3. All workshop registrations under this promotion, including any subsequent requests for cancellations or refunds, shall be governed by and strictly aligned with the British Council's terms and conditions of sale.

Limitation of Liability

The British Council shall not be liable for any claims, losses, or damages of any nature suffered by the participant or any third party, including but not limited to loss of profits, punitive, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with this promotion.

SAFRA Disclaimer and Personal Data Indemnity

  1. You will be redirected to the British Council’s website to complete your registration or transaction. Please note that participants will be providing their personal data directly to the British Council, which operates independently of SAFRA.
  2. SAFRA is not an agent of the British Council. Any matters relating to the quality, standard, or delivery of services should be addressed directly with the British Council. SAFRA shall not be responsible for any acts, omissions, or service-related issues arising from the merchant.
  3. Any personal data provided by participants on the British Council’s website will be collected, used, and disclosed in accordance with its own policies and for its business operations. SAFRA does not control or take responsibility for how the British Council handles participants’ personal data.
  4. SAFRA shall not be liable for any loss, breach, or misuse of personal data arising from participants’ provision of such data to the British Council.
