ABOUT THE DEPARTMENT/TEAM
Education Services is the British Council’s commercial offer to UK institutions, providing them with professional services support for international education work. The team deliver large scale events, marketing services, professional development and training as well as insight and consultancy services.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING AND WHY
The Senior Programme Manager will be the strategic lead for the British Council’s portfolio of Education programmes, ensuring the delivery of high quality results across the sector areas we operate in. S/he will contribute to business development through proactive engagement with potential partners, lead on the successful implementation of the country business plan, and ensure quality of service delivery for chargeable Education marketing services to clients. Our education marketing services include delivery of market insight, student recruitment events, digital and content marketing, as well as providing assistance in brokering partnerships with local institutions.
WHAT IS INTERESTING ABOUT IT
The post holder will work as part of wider education team with functional responsibilities to the Head of Education Services (East Asia) and ensure that all work is aligned to wider education strategy. You will act as a strategic partner to UK universities, advising and assisting them with engagement in Singapore.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You should have a Degree in Business or Administration, Marketing or in relevant area with minimum five years of experience in project management, client management and proven marketing experience in a managerial position in delivering large scale marketing projects.
