Role overview
We have an exciting opportunity for an Examination Services Executive to join a growing and busy examinations team in British Council Singapore.
The British Council delivers over 3m UK exams worldwide in over 850 cities and towns. The East Asia region includes Korea, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Vietnam, Malaysia, Burma and Thailand. Together these countries deliver over 260,000 exams annually. In a number of places, we work in a very competitive environment.
In Singapore, our large Exams portfolio includes: IELTS, university and professional examinations, school-level exams as well as Cambridge English exams. In 2013, more than 20,000 candidates sat for examinations with us.
As the Examination Services Executive you will work with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of exams products and services in Singapore. You will make sure that exams are well organised and meet the relevant standards, and will work with examination boards closely. You will also oversee the recruitment, training and coordination of exams invigilators.
Ideally, you will have some previous work experience (at least one year) in a relevant field. Experience working in a multi-cultural environment would be beneficial, and education to diploma or degree level is required.

Please be advised that the successful candidate will normally be placed on the beginning of the pay scale for this payband which is SGD 2,500 per month.
