Role overview
As Human Resources Executive you would work in an established team, supporting our work in a number of areas. Reporting to a Human Resources Manager, your focus would include:
- Employment, working on salary proposals and contracts for our staff and helping with the onboarding of Singapore-based and expatriate staff members
- Staff development, overseeing training schedules and tracking bids for staff development funding
- Employee relations
- Performance management
- Equal Opportunities and Diversity, ensuring the British Council's policies are in place and are monitored
To be ideally suited for this position you will come from an HR generalist background, especially with working experience in the areas of recruitment and training & development. You will have good organisational skills and working knowledge of local (Singaporean) labour laws. You will also be educated to at least diploma level.
