Senior Teacher Adults

You will work closely with one other Senior Teacher to develop and manage our offering of Adult courses in Singapore. This includes managing the syllabus, course books and assessment, and assisting teachers in maintaining quality in the classroom, as well as working with Senior Teacher Operations to meet student demand for class scheduling. Course evaluation and improvement are central to the role. It also involves liaising with customers and staff to ensure high levels of customer care. You will are also expected to provide support to product heads and departments in meeting re-registration and registration targets, income and impact targets. As a member of the Teaching Centre Management team, you will also make a significant contribution to internal communications, increasing teacher satisfaction levels and performance management.   

This post requires excellent communication skills, emotional intelligence and strong analytical thinking skills.   

The adult courses comprise a full-time General and Academic English programme, a full-time teen international school preparation programme, part-time General, Academic, Business and IELTS Preparation Courses, and myClass. For full details, please visit our website here.   

You will be based in our Napier Road centre but should expect to work across all adult-focused centres. Please note that all centres have full schedules on Saturdays and Sundays and you should be prepared to work Sunday to Thursday and act as duty manager until 21.30 up to two times a week.   

To be considered, you need to have a undergraduate/university degree, have Cambridge DELTA/Trinity Dip TESOL/relevant Master’s degree, experience teaching or managing language programmes and ideally have previous experience as a Senior Teacher.
