The holidays just got a lot more fun, mama! Keep those little minds bright this January with fun-filled games, projects and more at British Council’s Winter Study Camps.
Building confidence in your kiddos and focusing on good communication skills is vital for lifelong communication, mama. Lots of enrichment centres promise this, but unlike most learning centres, British Council stands out by incorporating fun games, cool apps, and cultural understanding at their 'English Booster' Winter Study Camps for a more enriching experience!
You no longer have to worry about your kiddo nodding off during class. Utilising a communicative approach with a range of partner work, group work, and interactive whole class situations, students are encouraged and empowered to be active and engaged. Language learning games and activities are used in a meaningful way that supports the development of students’ language ability, whilst whirring up challenge-hungry young minds. What’s more, all the teachers at British Council have the Cambridge University-awarded CELTA certificate as a minimum qualification along with ample teaching experience to equip your little ones with the best skills.
Taking learning up a notch on the tech front, as all classrooms are equipped with interactive whiteboards and have Internet and laptop access to support students’ learning. Teachers will also guide students on how to locate and use the awesome online resources and mobile apps that the British Council has available, ensuring that their learning on the course is not only enriched, but giving them an opportunity to continue learning long after they’ve left the camp.
Starting with a pre-course assessment, students are carefully assessed before placement so they can experience the most suitable level of challenge for their specific needs. They’ll receive a welcome pack upon arrival and British Council attendance certificate upon completion.
Besides fostering a deep love of language, British Council also promotes opportunities to find out more about different nationalities and cultures as kiddos study alongside other students of various backgrounds and ethnicities. The result is a dramatic increase in cultural understanding, on top of the confidence they gain from using new grammar and vocabulary skills during every lesson.
With a convenient location at British Council’s Toa Payoh Centre, getting there will be a breeze with MRT and bus services just 5 minutes away by foot, and excellent connectivity by car.
