Marvin Ang

Director, Professional Development Centre, British Council in Singapore

Marvin has been working with the British Council since 2019 and currently leads our work at the Professional Development Centre. He began his career in the EdTech and Professional Adult Training sector in 2002. Marvin previously held country and regional leadership roles with several technology and training organisations.

Jim Pollard

Head of Contracts, British Council in Singapore

Jim has been working with the British Council since 2005, serving in posts across the globe at our offices. He combines a background in leading education programmes with experience as the managing director of his own company in the UK.

Karen Dyas

Karen has held senior roles in the public and private sector, and believes in a practical, coaching approach to learning. She has helped organisations such as London Underground achieve meaningful cultural change through employee engagement and development projects.

Sean Bowhay

Sean has been with the British Council since 1997. He specialises in developing communication courses, having worked with government ministries and private-sector organisations including OCBC Bank.

Academic Manager, Professional Development Centre, British Council in Singapore

James brings more than ten years’ corporate experience and a learner-centred approach to his role at British Council. After leaving his career in banking, he trained and developed programmes for clients in Asia such as Alibaba and Singapore Airlines.

Graham Down
