The East Asia region includes 14 countries, where we have dedicated Arts teams, grouped into three clusters around shared cultural, linguistic, sociopolitical and economic interests:
- South East Asia Cluster: Burma, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam where our focus is on crafts & design innovation, cultural skills development and creative & inclusive cities
- North East Asia Cluster: China, Hong Kong, Japan, Singapore, South Korea and Taiwan where our focus is on cultural skills development & creative learning, digital innovation & digitally delivered arts programmes, and regional programmes in inclusion and diversity
- Pacific Cluster: Australia and New Zealand where our focus is on cultural leadership, developing relevant triangular collaboration programmes with UK and partners in Asia and culture and diversity programmes
